Entry Requirements
Students having passed SEE or equivalent from a recognized board-securing minimum C+ grade marks can apply for the admission in +2 classes.
Code of Conduct
Discipline is a major concern of PSS. At least 90% attendance is compulsory to appear in the NEB examination.
Shift & Timing
The Classes run in both Morning shift (6:00 am to 9:50 am) and Day shift (10:00 am to 5:30 pm), Sunday through Friday.

Teaching & Learning Methodology
PSS has adopted modern teaching-learning methodology with the use of modern equipment including computers, multi-media projector, overhead projectors and audio-visual aids, relevant handouts and charts. Highly qualified and experienced faculty members initiate to maximize the potentiality of students through clear and effective teaching. Participatory approaches like brainstorming-seminar, guest lectures, workshops, case studies, simulation, field trip, discussion on lectures and tutorials are the teaching methods we apply at PSS.

Practical Approaches
We believe that acquiring theoretical knowledge does not always end in its successful application in the descried field. Therefore, we have given an equal emphasis on its applied side as well. We have separate practical works for all streams.
The science, management and hotel management students are made to carry out specific pieces of project works ending in report writing. As for account students learn to operate account working both in writing and on computers and students are encouraged to go on market studies and analyze on them through practical perspective.
On the other hand, under humanities stream, especially journalism, students are helped to experience all kinds of works related in that field. Solely for this purpose students have managed and published ‘monthly journal’ in collaboration with Lake City College and Research Center (LCCRC). Through this, they get to know many sides for information gathering, news writing, editing, audio-visual editing, analytical writing and computer operating. Establishment of Media Center and social science center provided ample opportunities to develop required skills and knowledge to our future RJs’.
